The former manager, Pep Guardiola who has had a remarkable ten(10) years as the head coach of Manchester City, left the club at the end of the 2025/2026 season with an incredible finish.
After Pep Guardiola left, an Italian former player, who is a professional coach named Enzo Maresca, was appointed as the new head coach of Manchester City Football Club. The contract is set to last for 3years, running from now until the summer of 2029.
Enzo was the coach of Chelsea for 18 months, starting from July 2024 to when Manchester City Called in January 2026. During his time at Chelsea, Enzo won the UEFA CONFERENCE LEAGUE and the FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP.
Enzo Maresca began his professional football career as a midfielder with West Bromwich Albion back in 1998 and retired as a player after in 2017 when he began his professional coaching classes.
