BREAKING: Delta State Government Has Order A Deep Search On Those Involve In Attacking One Of His Own, Simon Mudi (Temple)

The Delta State Government has directed security agencies to track down and prosecute anyone involved in attacking Simon Mudi, also known as Temple, a protocol aide to Governor Oborevwori.

According to witness, Mr Simon Mudi was reportedly attacked last Sunday during the Delta Central APC Stakeholders’ meeting held at the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area.

The government bitterly condemned the incident, stating that it is unacceptable and a serious thrÂŁat to public peace and freedom of speech.

The directive was disclosed by the Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available in Warri on Wednesday.

“The state government was disturbed by videos of the incident circulating on social media, particularly the brutal assault on one Simon Mudi alias Temple, who is a protocol aide to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori,” Aniagwu stated.

Aniagwu stressed that the Oborevwori administration would not tolerate violence or lawlessness under any guise, warning that those behind the attack would face the full weight of the law.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has directed security agencies to identify, arrest and prosecute all those involved in the incident.
“The reported acts of violence, particularly the cruel attack on Simon Mudi, are unacceptable and have no place in our society,” He added
